This year the TSI – IMarEST shooting day was held on Saturday the 24th May and the Limassol International Shooting Club.

The event brought together 27 members of the Cyprus Shipping Community to join us for a morning’s clay pigeon and pistol shooting, lunch and drinks.

There were 4 events in this year’s program. a 20-bird clay shoot for the ladies and a 20-bird clay shoot for the men. running concurrently was a pistol target shoot for all comers. The last event of the day was a 25 bird Compak clay shoot for advanced shooters.

The winners as follows:

Ladies shoot – Natalie Savostikova – Rivertech.

Mens Shoot – Andreas Christophides – Lapwings Maritime Services.

Pistol Shoot – Ioannis Levsopoulos – V ships.

Advanced Shoot – George Savva – Lapwings Maritime Services.

On completion of the shooting, we adjourned to the club house for the presentations followed by Meze lunch and drinks.

The TSI – IMarEST annual shooting day was held on 25^th May at the Limassol International Shooting Club Cyprus.

As expected the Cyprus weather was glorious, sun shining but not too hot.

The event was well attended with a total of 37 guests representing Columbia Shipmanagement, V Ships, Interorient Shipmanagment, Marlow Navigation, Q Marine, Aecheon, Epsco and a few independent guests from IMarEST.

The event commenced at 10.00 with a 20 bird clay pigeon shoot for the novices and continued with a 25 bird shoot for the more advanced guns. Pistol shooting was also included in this years event and progressed throughout the morning.

After the presentation of the trophies a buffet meal with drinks was served for all in the club house.

Trophies were presented to the following.

Ladies winner – Alison Quain. (score 6 out of 20)

Mens winner – Theo Dimitriou. (score 19 out of 20)

Advanced winner – Sefanos Dimitriou. (score 22 out of 25)

Pistol shoot winner – Sergiy Golubkov. (score 40 out of 64)

All attending commented on a wonderful day and are looking forward to next years event.
