We want to thank all of our customers new and old for tuning into the Euro – American Shipping Forum online on the 15th and 16th September. As you would have seen, our speaker Ed McNally did an amazing job! After a slight technical glitch, we had a very smooth presentation. Please see below the presentation in full.

“TSI is a company with over 30 years of experience servicing and repairing, Diesel Engine Turbochargers in the Marine and Power Plant markets.

We are an independent company that works alongside some Turbocharger Makers as well as in competition to others.

Within our management team we have group of people who together have a wealth of knowledge within the field of exhaust gas turbochargers.

Over the years people have joined TSI from some of the biggest turbocharger manufacturers, bringing with them their Technical and Commercial expertise.

Our management group can count on a pool of over 150 years of experience covering all aspects of the turbocharger business and almost all makes of turbochargers.

In our service and workshop teams this pool of knowledge is even larger. Our lead engineers are OEM trained and have attended OEM training courses. We also have our own in-house training programs to keep our engineers up to date with the latest techniques and service information, for a wide range of products. These programs are developed by our OEM trained Technical Managers.

At TSI we pride ourselves in offering the highest quality  parts and services for overhauls, repairs and reconditioning of most common types of turbochargers.

When it comes to Turbocharger Services and Customer-Care we believe TSI sets the benchmark, not the original turbocharger makers.

We, have the ability to be flexible, to react quickly to customer demands, and are able to offer our customers different solutions to technical or commercial problems. Solutions that can help save our customers time and money, without effecting the performance or reliability of their turbochargers.

Within the new COVID environment that we have all had to endure these last 6 months or so, TSI have continued to offer a world-wide service using TSI branded workshops and also fully audited partner workshops.

Finding high quality service providers in some locations is difficult. We know that this is a concern for a lot of owners and operators.

With the current travel restrictions and quarantine rules some companies have had to limited the areas they will work in.

At TSI we have reassured our customers that we will work with them to try and undertake service work wherever they need it. Sometimes turbochargers can’t wait until the vessel reaches a “decent port” where there are plenty of services available.

Our global service network allows us to cover the majority of services via local service stations.  However where international travel is required then our engineers undergo COVID testing, prior to travelling and upon their return.  And, at all times, they adhere to the COVID safety guidelines within the country and onboard the vessel.  We apply all the measures we can to ensure our staff are safe and our customers staff are protected.”
