Duncan McCulloch
Duncan’s career started in a metallurgical background supplying aerospace alloys to the aviation industry. Duncan is the founder member of TSI Turbo Service International, and started the company in 1989. Duncan has overseen the continuous growth of the business since its inception. Sarah Kay
Group Managing Director
Sarah joined the company in 2002 working in the Sales Department. Throughout the years Sarah has gained experience in all aspects of the commercial, operational, and administrative functions within the group of companies. Sarah is responsible for the group acquisitions, staff activities, staff guidance, company budgets, company practices, policies, and is the Managing Director for the group of companies.
Chris Aerts
Commercial Director
Chris joined ABB Antwerp in 1989-1999 as Technical Manager. During this time he was promoted to Business Unit Manager responsible for Belgium within the ABB Group. Chris joined TurboNed Netherlands 1999-2012 as Sales Director responsible for sales and building a worldwide sales and service network. Chris joined TSI in 2013 as Global Sales Manager and is head of our internal sales department. Chris manages our team of agents worldwide and is responsible for new contracts and the management of some key accounts.

Ed McNally
Sales Director
Ed has over 35 years of experience in the marine industry and is a Member of the Institute of Marine Engineers. He sailed for 10 years on Container vessels, Tankers and Reefers back in the 80’s. In 1990 he joined Electrocatalytic Ltd (Elcat) as a commissioning engineer installing sea water antifouling systems and Impressed current cathodic protection systems in the Marine, Offshore and Power Industries. In 1995 he took up a sales role with Elcat specifically concentrating on the marine market, eventually becoming Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East and Asia. Ed joined TSI in 2003 as Global Sales Manager and took up the Sales Director’s role in 2008. Ed has a wealth of experience in the maritime market, and you will see him at regular networking events around the world. Ed heads up the External sales team at TSI.
Jean Paul Azzopardi
Technical Director
Jean Paul Joined ABB in 2004 as a service engineer, A precision engineer by trade, an engineering graduate with an MBA, he went on to join the technical team supporting the sales function with
technical advisory for turbocharger operations and diesel engines. He continued his studies on Diesel combustion engines during this role.
In 2008 Jean Paul joined the end user sales team as the head of technical sales where his main role was to identify and resolve technical issues and ensure correct product selling. During this time his
specialities were fault finding, performance analysis, diagnostics and fuel efficiency.
Jean Paul joined TSI in 2017 and is the Sales Manager for the Mediterranean region.

John Mealing
Sale Manager Cyprus
John’s sea going career has spanned over 27 years of which 10 were as Chief Engineer on Tanker, Dry cargo, container, Ro Ro, Ro Pax Ferries and Cruise Liners vessels. John came ashore in 2001 as Technical Supt with V Ships in Cyprus until 2007 when he moved to Maestro Shipmanagement. In 2009 John moved to Dobson’s Fleet Management as Fleet Manager and then in 2012 returned to V Ships as Fleet Manager. John joins our team as Sales Manager for the Cyprus area.
Craig Desty
Commercial Assistant
Craig joined the commercial sales team in April 2023 following a 20-year career within the telecommunications industry. Craig has an extensive background in Account Management / Sales and building client relationships along with a strong technical knowledge. Craig works closely with the Commercial Director and Commercial Manager within TSI.
Suzanne Allan
Commercial Sales Administrator
Suzanne joined the TSI team in December 2023. She comes from the energy industry and has worked in organisations delivering manufacturing, construction, operations, and project management services. She has an applied business and management degree and has gained experience in roles involving quality, business planning, commercial policy, digital transformation, change management, and stakeholder engagement. Suzanne is part of our commercial team and is currently working on improvement projects to refine our processes and prepare us for future growth.

Established in 1976 as an agency company for shipyards, engine spare repairs and equipment manufacturers. S.S.R.S. Ltd has expanded its business into commercial representations and with its growing international connections now undertakes project promotions in both the shipping and manufacturing spheres

Amey Evans
Sales Order Supervisor
Amey has 10 years experience in customer service, moving into a technical workshop role dealing with parts for Omega watches in 2016. Amey joined TSI in August 2022 as a Sales Order Processor / Customs Administrator, and was promoted in July 2023 to Sales Order Supervisor, supervising the Sales Order team.

Marni Wigstead
Quality Manager
Marni has experience in implementing, controlling, and auditing management systems in line with –

She has worked in different sectors, from facilities management, construction, manufacturing, and the marine industry.
Marni joined TSI in 2022 to manage Quality and health and Safety.
Ben Spafford
Group Materials Manager
Ben has been working with the company since 2008 having joined us from school. During the years of working with TSI Ben has gained a vast range of experience working within the engineering division onboard vessels and in the workshop carrying out repairs and part replacement. Over the last few years Ben has been working closely with our suppliers, procurement, stores and stock control in procedural changes and internal system updates to enable our procurement, stock control and management of stock to have improved controls and efficiency.
Ben was promoted to Materials Manager in January 2020.
Aimee Stewart
Procurement Specialist
Aimee has worked in the marine industry for over 20 years. Aimee started her marine career in 2000 at P&O Cruises (Now Carnival UK) as a Technical Buyer – working closely with all Engineers / Chief Engineers and Superintendents. Aimee moved to Global Services in 2015 as a Commercial Vendor Analyst and continue to work closely with the Cruise Industry and Engineers.

Kelly Preston
Management Accountant
Kelly joined TSI in April 2022 and works closely with Rebecca, providing valuable support to the entire finance team. Having started her career as an Accounts Apprentice, she has successfully progressed through her Professional Accounting Qualifications. Kelly has now completed her ACCA Chartered Accountancy exams, a significant achievement for both her and TSI, reflecting our ongoing commitment to professional development.
Liz Deacon
Accounts Administrator
Liz has spent almost 30 years in the motor industry, beginning her accounting career as a sales ledger clerk, taking on more responsibility and advancement, to become Dealership Accountant for 2 sites. Her motivation for change led her to join TSI as Accounts Administrator in September 2023 and she now enjoys the challenges of learning a new business sector, as part of the growing finance operation, as well as the benefits of working much closer to home.

Jim Dick
Senior Engineering Manager
Jim joined the TSI engineering team in May 2024. Originally from a seagoing technical background commencing in 1987 serving on board research, offshore, deep-sea and cruise vessels. Since 2006 Jim has held technical shore management positions within the cruise, consultancy, newbuild cruise and superyacht sectors.
Alexander Belder
Manager of Rotterdam Facility
Alex started in 1996 as a field service engineer with ABB, carrying out turbocharger overhauls onboard vessels. In 2002 he joined TSI as lead engineer, overhauling all types of turbochargers worldwide. Over the years he has become a Senior Lead Engineer, followed by Superintendent Engineer. In 2022 Alex also became Manager of the Rotterdam facility.
Christophe Van Leemput
Workshop Manager Netherlands
Christophe joined the company in 2002 and was employed as a cleaner and Blaster, responsible for the overall cleanliness of the workshop, including all cleaning and grit blasting of turbocharger components. During his tenure, Christophe progressed to more specific tasks, including welding, and grinding of turbine blades, which takes a lot of precision and patience, and assembly and balancing of turbocharger rotors. Christophe is our Workshop Manager in the Netherlands.
Grant Baker
Group Stores Manager
Grant left school and worked in the construction industry for 1 year, he joined TSI in 2001 as a trainee engineer and spent 10 years as a field service engineer, he then moved over to our store’s department, Grant is our group store’s manager overseeing picking/packing goods, in/out and stock management.
